Fabric Name Stamps

With the help of a fabric name stamp, you can easily add your own personal flair to your clothing, quilts, and other fabric goods. Fabric name stamps allow you to add names to fabric, proving an incredibly useful tool in a school setting.

What is the difference between the self-inking and pre-inked fabric name stamps?

The teachit co.® fabric name stamp is the quickest and easiest way to label clothing, hats, bags and other belongings using a special non-toxic ink developed for application on fabric/textiles. Both stamps are refillable.

The self-inking stamp is ideal for repetitive stamping. The personalised text plate is laser engraved onto rubber. When stamping, the die plate retracts to collect ink from the ink pad prior to making each stamp impression, therefore producing consistent impressions every time. We recommend removing the ink pad (and storing in the zip lock pouch provided) when the stamp is not in use to avoid evaporation of the ink.

With the pre-inked stamp, the ink is built into the ink reservoir however after a few stamp impressions, the stamp needs time to refresh and allow ink droplets to seep through the flash foam before using again. The stamp only requires minimal pressure to leave an impression and therefore, the harder you press on the stamp, the more ink the fabric will also absorb. It is available in Black ink only. The pre-inked stamp will produce up to 1000 impressions however the cap needs to be kept on when the stamp is not in use to avoid ink from drying up.
